Entries open 1 July 2016
We had a great day on Saturday 5 March 2016 and hope all athletes, volunteers, friends and local community did as well.
We would like to extend a very big thank you to all volunteers and members of the local community who donated their time and effort to assist us with the delivery of a very successful event. In particular, we would like to thank Cabarita SLSC for assisting with water safety, St Ambrose Primary School for providing parking and to Men's Shed Pottsville, Pottsville Lion's Club, Tweed Coast Raiders JRL, Pottsville Cricket Club and all other community groups involved for helping man the water stations.
A huge congratulations to all athletes who participated in this years event. It was a pleasure to see so many participants enjoying themselves. 2016 results are available here.
After such a successful event in 2016, we can't wait to see you all at next years Tweed Coast Enduro.
Regards Mike – Race Director
The Tweed Coast Enduro offers racing: on a long course 1.9km swim/90km cycle/21.1km run for individuals in social (entry level) or competitive age groups, and teams in either the tag or mates team format.
The main priority of the course design has been to make it flat, fast and friendly to spectators and athletes alike. Thanks to the input of locals Richard, Salty Dave and Bennan, we have been able to present a swim (downhill), a cycle with two rolling hills, and a run with no hills, ergo: The athletes' wish list fulfilled... And to keep your friends and supporters happy (or they won’t come to watch), we brought the starts/finishes and laps all together in one location.
